Slimbo Terms of Service

1. General Provisions

These Terms of Service (hereinafter — “Terms”) govern the relationship between Individual Entrepreneur Nazarenko O.O. (Tax ID: 2900504395; hereinafter — “Slimbo”, “we”, “us”) and any person using the Slimbo service (hereinafter — “Service”, “Platform”).

By using the Service, you confirm that you:

  • have read these Terms and agree to them in full;
  • are 18 years of age or older;
  • have full legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

If you do not agree with any provision of the Terms — please stop using the Service.

These Terms constitute a public offer in accordance with Art. 633 of the Civil Code of Ukraine.

2. Registration and Account

2.1. Registration is required to access the Service’s functionality. Authorization is performed via the Clerk service.

2.2. Upon registration, you undertake to provide accurate and current information.

2.3. One account is intended exclusively for one user. Transferring an account, sharing it between multiple people, or automated access without permission is prohibited. A separate business plan is available for working with multiple clients.

2.4. You bear full responsibility for keeping your credentials confidential and for all actions performed from your account.

2.5. In the event of unauthorized access to your account, notify us immediately at privacy@slimbo.app.

3. Description of the Service

Slimbo is a meal planning and body composition tracking platform that provides:

  • calculation of individual nutritional goals (calories, macronutrients, budget);
  • maintenance of a personal food database;
  • automatic generation of meal plans based on your parameters;
  • tracking of weight and body composition dynamics;
  • generation of reports and analytics;
  • for business plans — tools for managing clients and their nutrition programs.

The Service is provided “as is”. We make reasonable efforts to ensure uninterrupted operation of the Platform, but do not guarantee a specific level of availability and are not liable for temporary service interruptions.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

4.1. Access to the paid functionality of the Service is provided on the basis of a prepaid subscription in accordance with the selected plan.

4.2. Current pricing and terms of each plan are available on the Pricing page.

4.3. Automatic renewal. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it before the renewal date. We will notify you by email in advance of the upcoming charge.

4.4. Payments are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited), acting as Merchant of Record. Paddle is the legal reseller of record for all subscription purchases — your transaction is made directly with Paddle. Payment card data is not stored on our servers. By completing a purchase, you also accept Paddle’s Terms of Service.

4.5. All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

4.6. Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — access is retained until it expires.

5. Free Trial

5.1. Some subscription plans include a 7-day free trial.

5.2. During the trial period you have full access to the functionality of the relevant plan without any charge.

5.3. After the trial period ends, the subscription automatically converts to a paid plan. If you do not wish to continue — cancel the subscription before the trial period expires.

5.4. The free trial is provided once for each subscription plan and cannot be reactivated.

6. Customer Support

6.1. Support is available to all users via email support@slimbo.app and through the Contact Us form on the website.

6.2. The scope and response time of support depend on the subscription plan:

6.3. Paid subscribers (Personal, Business, and Enterprise plans) may submit support requests through the in-app support form, which routes messages to our support team via email.

6.4. We endeavour to respond within the times stated above; these are target times and do not constitute a binding service-level guarantee.

7. Refund Policy

7.1. If you are dissatisfied with the Service, you may submit a refund request within 14 calendar days of the first payment for the current plan (excluding the trial period).

7.2. To receive a refund, contact us at support@slimbo.app stating the reason.

7.3. Refunds for subscription renewals (subsequent billing periods) are not provided if you did not cancel the subscription before the charge date, except where required by applicable law.

7.4. We reserve the right to decline a refund if there are signs of abuse (for example, repeated registrations to take advantage of trial or introductory terms).

7.5. Payments and refunds are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, acting as Merchant of Record. For billing and payment-related inquiries, you may also contact Paddle directly at paddle.com.

8. User Obligations

By using the Service, you agree not to:

  • provide false information during registration or use;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data of other users;
  • scrape data from the Platform automatically;
  • reproduce, copy, or reverse-engineer the Service’s functionality;
  • use the Service for any unlawful purposes;
  • transfer account access to third parties;
  • upload malicious code or attack the infrastructure.

9. Medical and Nutritional Disclaimer

9.1. The information, calculations, and recommendations provided by the Service are for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

9.2. Before making significant changes to your diet, especially in the presence of medical conditions, pregnancy, or breastfeeding, consult a doctor or certified dietitian.

9.3. We do not guarantee the achievement of specific results (weight loss, changes in body composition, etc.). Results depend on individual body characteristics and adherence to recommendations.

9.4. We are not liable for consequences arising from the independent application of the Service’s recommendations without professional consultation.

10. Intellectual Property Rights

10.1. Slimbo’s rights. All elements of the Platform — source code, design, interface, algorithms, logos, texts — are the intellectual property of Slimbo and are protected by Ukrainian copyright law.

10.2. User’s rights to their own content. Food items, meal plans, and other data you independently create in the Service remain your property.

10.3. Slimbo’s license. By using the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use anonymized and aggregated data from your content solely for the purpose of improving the algorithms and functionality of the Service. We never transfer your identified content to third parties.

11. Business Plan and Client Data

11.1. The business plan is designed for nutritionists, dietitians, fitness trainers, and other specialists (hereinafter — “Specialist”) who manage clients through the Platform.

11.2. The Specialist bears full responsibility for:

  • the accuracy and currency of data they enter about their clients;
  • the existence of a legal basis (including client consent) for processing clients’ personal data through the Platform;
  • informing clients about the use of Slimbo to process their data.

11.3. Slimbo acts as a processor of the Specialist’s clients’ personal data in accordance with the terms set out in the Privacy Policy (Section 12).

11.4. Slimbo is not liable for damages caused to the Specialist’s clients as a result of incorrect or incomplete data entered by the Specialist.

12. Limitation of Liability

12.1. The Service is provided “as is” without any express or implied warranties, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose.

12.2. To the maximum extent permitted by Ukrainian law, our aggregate liability to you for any claims related to the use of the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the subscription during the last 3 months.

12.3. We are not liable for:

  • indirect or consequential damages (loss of profit, data, business opportunities);
  • temporary unavailability of the Service for technical reasons;
  • consequences of using nutritional recommendations without professional consultation;
  • actions or omissions of third parties (Clerk, Paddle, DigitalOcean, etc.).

13. Account Suspension and Deletion

13.1. You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings or by sending a request to privacy@slimbo.app.

13.2. We reserve the right to suspend or delete an account without notice in the event of:

  • violation of these Terms;
  • suspicion of fraud or abuse;
  • non-payment of subscription fees.

13.3. After account deletion, your personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Payment data is retained for 7 years as required by tax legislation.

14. Changes to the Terms

14.1. We may update these Terms. In the event of material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notification in the Service no later than 14 days before the changes take effect.

14.2. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14.3. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you may cancel your subscription and delete your account before the date the changes take effect.

15. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

15.1. These Terms are governed by Ukrainian law, in particular:

  • Civil Code of Ukraine;
  • Law of Ukraine “On Electronic Commerce”;
  • Law of Ukraine “On Consumer Rights Protection”.

15.2. All disputes shall be resolved through negotiations. If no agreement is reached — in the courts of Ukraine at the place of registration of Individual Entrepreneur Nazarenko O.O.

15.3. The Ukrainian-language version of these Terms takes precedence over translations in the event of any discrepancies in interpretation.

15.4. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, the remaining Terms shall remain in full force.
